The Ukrainian Prosecutor General’s Office has announced the completion of the basic phase of filling the Unified Registry of Persons Convicted of Crimes Against Sexual Freedom and Sexual Integrity of Minors. The registry is an automated electronic database created to collect, store, protect, account for, search, and summarize information about individuals who have committed criminal offenses of this nature. It includes data on the offender’s name, birth date, place of residence, the crime for which they were convicted, the criminal punishment served, and any violations of administrative supervision rules. The registry will be accessible to law enforcement officials, school and kindergarten directors, heads of state administrations, and the heads of local self-government bodies.
